One critical phenomenon that happens or common with the northern hemisphere countries is the Coriolis effect, which means, an object is deflected in the northern half of the globe. Any object moving over the earth’s surface in the northern hemisphere will deflect in the right direction.

This phenomenon is responsible for the large pattern in water or air to move clockwise north of the equator. All of these effects are in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere.

Climate And Geography.

Here in this region, there are various climates and topography. Nevertheless, because there is more land in the northern hemisphere, it witnesses winter that starts from late December, known as the Winter Solstice to late March known as the vernal equinox.

The summer solstice starts from late June to later December known as the Autumnal equinox. This variation is due to the earth’s axial tilt. The northern hemisphere is tilted away from the sun starting from later December (21) to around 20 of March. And it is titled towards the sun around June 21 to around 21 of September.
