Alex Ferguson is the most successful manager in Manchester United’s rich history. The Scot led Manchester United to glory in the FA Cup 5 times with their last trophy coming in 2004. They last appeared in the final in 2018 which they lost to Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.

  • #3. Chelsea (8 titles)

The Blues are the second most successful London-based team on the list of FA Cup winners. Chelsea were led to their 8th trophy by Antonio Conte in their 13th final appearance in 2018. The Stamford Bridge side first won the trophy in 1970 with different managers leading them to glory since then.

  • #4. Tottenham Hotspur (8 TITLES)

Spurs are tied with London rivals Chelsea on the list of FA Cup winners. Tottenham fans have no fresh memory of glory in the FA Cup as they last won the tournament in almost three decades ago in 1991. They have an impressive record of 8 wins in 9 final appearances.

The Magpies rank seventh on the list of FA Cup winners. They were led to glory for the first time by Frank Watt in 1910. They have reached the final 12 more times since then amassing five FA Cup trophies along the way. They last reached the final in 1999.

Manchester City are sure to rise on this list if they can keep up their dominant display in the coming years. Till then however, they will have to make do with their present rank on the list of FA Cup winners as the 8th most successful team. They are currently the defending champions.
