The service

LegitInformant provides automated risk assessments of websites, messages and other identifiers based on public signals. Results are opinions provided "as is" for information only. They are not legal, financial or security advice, and are not statements of fact about any person or business.

Community reports

Reports must be truthful and based on your own experience. Do not post personal information about private individuals, threats, or content you do not have the right to share. We may edit, hold or remove reports, and we respond to good-faith correction requests from site owners.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, bypass rate limits, scrape it at scale outside the API, or use it to plan fraud. API use is governed by your plan's quota.

Paid plans

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You keep access to the end of the period paid. We refund first payments within 14 days on request.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LegitInformant is not liable for losses arising from reliance on a score, a report or the absence of a warning. Always use buyer-protected payment methods.
